Boo and Marcus (South Surrey)

Boo came to VRRA in the summer of 2023 as a baby rabbit.  Her family had lost everything in the wildfires and had to surrender her.  She is blind in one eye but was cleared by the specialist to be adopted.

Marcus, her partner, a lively blue eyed dwarf came and joined us in 2024, rescued from bad conditions. He is estimated to be about 3 years old.

Both are litter trained, altered and upto date on their vaccines.

Foster notes:

Boo and Marcus were fosters living side by side for months. Marcus and Boo always bonded through the bars and really took to each other. One night Marcus broke thru the bars and I found them cuddled up the next morning!! Ever since then Boo and Marcus have been living together – they chose each other.

Boo and Marcus love to go outside when the weather is nice and play in an outdoor pen. Marcus is an avid cuddler and can sit on your lap for hours giving love and getting attention. He is very energetic and enthusiastic about toys. Boo is more reserved and calm, she likes to be approached gently on her good side as she is blind in one eye.

Boo can be cage protective but once you have her out she is a total sweetheart and sucker for love! Marcus and Boo love grooming and cuddling with each other.

Favourite toys

Their favourite toys are willow balls, hay tunnels and balls they can throw around.

Favourite Food/treats

Pellets, orchard grass, Timothy hay for Boo. Dandelion greens, cilantro and, will do anything for a loop treat!

Elias (South Surrey)

Found as a month old fluffy baby that could fit in the palm of your hand, living under a dumpster in a parking lot in Abbotsford, Elias has not let his humble upbringings get him down. Now 6 months old and neutered, he has so much life left to live, and he would love to do it with you!  Curious and playful, Elias loves to explore and binky. Loves his food, and his treats, and is just waiting to be spoiled for the lovable bun he is.

If you would like to adopt Elias, please apply today!

Twilight and Stream (Vancouver or South Surrey)

Meet these adorable devoted sisters, Twilight & Stream!

These two girls date of birth is April 4, 2022. They came into VRRA July 20, 2022 with their mother and siblings. Twilight (black female) has a fun outgoing personality – she loves to come up to you and play for treats. She will nip/nudge is she feel you aren’t paying enough attention to her. Stream (grey/silver female) can be shy but likes to snuggle with her sister. Stream had to have one eye removed due to EC. She is completely recovered and healthy now. Stream will come up to you if you are sitting down, for head pets.

They are free roaming in their current home – a loving foster home with two children. They love to do zoomies and binkies in the evenings and run to the kids rooms to say goodnight. These two are confident and will run up and down stairs. They enjoy their chew toys and are very well behaved. They have very good litter skills. We would love for this pair to find their furever home! If you would like to adopt them, please apply today!

Frances (South Surrey)

This darling little girl is shy, but brave. Once she’s comfortable, she’ll come up and boop you with her nose. It’s her way of saying hello. Frances absolutely loves to be hand fed. It’s so cute to see her little tail twitch with excitement!

While Frances likes company, she prefers to be the one to initiate any petting. She’s comfortable with gentle nose pets, however she prefers not to be picked up or have full body pets.

Frances enjoys exploring her space. She recently moved things around so she could have a better route for her zoomies! Frances loves games and puzzles when there’s a reward. She’s an expert with her stacking cups and her treat dispenser ball!

No worries with the litter box, as Frances is very clean and tidy. She definitely prefers privacy while doing her business, so I had to move the hay bin to make a bit of a partition.

Frances does startle at loud noises, so she may not do well in a home with young children, or dogs (loud barking). If you would like to adopt Frances, please apply today!

Bailey (South Surrey)

Bailey  was found as a stray in Chilliwack, summer of 2024. Her age can only be estimated as she was an adult when she came to us. The vets think she’s in the 2 to 3 years age group.

Bailey is a bit of a diva – beautiful, with some spirit.  Can be protective of her space.  She’s extremely clean with her litterbox and loves toys. She’s a real foodie and demands her food first.

Bailey is looking for a home where she has space, freedom and attention. No young children please, and she would probably do better in a more experienced home.

Bailey is a lovely rabbit and will truly blossom in a home rather than a shelter.  Are you that home? If so, please apply today!

Jordie and Jack (South Surrey)

Meet Jordie (brown/black) and his friend Jack (grey with tall ears).  This unlikely couple of boys found friendship on the first day in foster care from the local shelter.  Jack jumped into Jordie’s pen.  No aggressive behaviour, just grooming and snuggling together.  All bondings should be as simple.

Jordie is estimated to be about a year old maybe a little older.  He is easy to handle, curious and active.  He’s a connoisseur of greens and a certain brand of treats, which he will do anything to acquire one.

Jack may not be a big rabbit despite his ear and feet size.  His handsome, fine boned features are quite hare-like. Jack is a real charmer with his charismatic ways and athletic prowess.  He’s estimated to be around six to eight months old, and very active!

This handsome pair of boys can be a little on the shy side and require a home with room to roam and would love some outdoor playtime as well.  And they do like their home comforts! This great pair of totally bonded boys would be a welcome addition to any family home. Their present foster home has two respectful dogs, other rabbits, guinea pigs and love birds.

If you would like to give this devoted pair of rabbits a second chance of a home, please research and fill in an adoption application at vrra.org to start the ball rolling.
