Jimmy came to VRRA with her mom and siblings at the tender age of 9 days old. Her mom and some of her siblings have gone to loving homes. She was born June 2025.
Jimmy is a curious active girl, quite shy until she gets to know you and can be a little protective of her space. She needs plenty of activities to keep her occupied, and she will certainly be an entertaining companion to the right home!
Favourite foods: hay, cilantro, flat leaf parsley, lettuce and as a treat a loop cookie. She is a very clean girl. To reach her full potential this pretty girl will be better in a rabbit experienced home. If you can give her that home, please apply today!
Mini is a young harlequin, born June 8, 2025 rescued with her siblings at nine days old. Luckily our rescue team were able to catch her mom Betty Boop and reunite the little family.
Mini is the exact image of her mom, she’s the smallest of the sisters. She can be a little shy at first, but curious and active. She’s a good hay eater and more of a grazer.
With her personality right now, she’d be better in a quieter home. Would possibly like another rabbit as she had been with her siblings. She does also like playing with her toys!
Meet Button and Zipper! they were born at a local shelter with their siblings on Feb 8, 2025, and when the shelter reached out we were happy to help.
They are smaller rabbits, with white spots on their noses. These little sisters are happy to hang out together, and are very active and playful. They love their food, keep a clean house and will do anything for a treat.
One is shyer than the other but both are extremely inquisitive. They were born and raised in the shelter with a brief vacation stay in a foster home where they were extremely good.
Their favourite way of chilling out is flopping out on their Ikea bed after a long day of zoomies.
Their photos do not do them justice. This small pair of bonded pairs of girls are worth meeting. If you would like to adopt Button and Zipper, please apply today!
Meet our dear little Maisey, who was found as a stray fending for herself. She found herself in a local shelter where she gave birth to a litter of babies. A shelter was no place for a mama rabbit and her babies, so she was welcomed into the Vancouver rabbit rescue family. Not only did she raise her own but was surrogate mom to another baby.
Maisey has completed her maternal duties and is now looking for a forever home of her own.
She’s a shy, quiet, gentle rabbit and would prefer a home that matches her personality. Children may be overwhelming for her, but she probably would like a rabbit friend. She was in a foster home with cats, a dog and other rabbits. We are estimating her to be between one and two years old.
She’s clean, has her favourite toys and will gently take a treat from you.
Please give this little rabbit a chance of a stable home after her difficult start in life. Apply today!
Boo came to VRRA in the summer of 2023 as a baby rabbit. Her family had lost everything in the wildfires and had to surrender her. She is blind in one eye but was cleared by the specialist to be adopted.
Marcus, her partner, a lively blue eyed dwarf came and joined us in 2024, rescued from bad conditions. He is estimated to be about 3 years old.
Both are litter trained, altered and upto date on their vaccines.
Foster notes:
Boo and Marcus were fosters living side by side for months. Marcus and Boo always bonded through the bars and really took to each other. One night Marcus broke thru the bars and I found them cuddled up the next morning!! Ever since then Boo and Marcus have been living together – they chose each other.
Boo and Marcus love to go outside when the weather is nice and play in an outdoor pen. Marcus is an avid cuddler and can sit on your lap for hours giving love and getting attention. He is very energetic and enthusiastic about toys. Boo is more reserved and calm, she likes to be approached gently on her good side as she is blind in one eye.
Boo can be cage protective but once you have her out she is a total sweetheart and sucker for love! Marcus and Boo love grooming and cuddling with each other.
Favourite toys
Their favourite toys are willow balls, hay tunnels and balls they can throw around.
Favourite Food/treats
Pellets, orchard grass, Timothy hay for Boo. Dandelion greens, cilantro and, will do anything for a loop treat!
If you would like to adopt Marcus and Boo, please apply today!
Bailey was found as a stray in Chilliwack, summer of 2024. Her age can only be estimated as she was an adult when she came to us. The vets think she’s in the 2 to 3 years age group.
Bailey is a bit of a diva – beautiful, with some spirit. Can be protective of her space. She’s extremely clean with her litterbox and loves toys. She’s a real foodie and demands her food first.
Bailey is looking for a home where she has space, freedom and attention. No young children please, and she would probably do better in a more experienced home.
Bailey is a lovely rabbit and will truly blossom in a home rather than a shelter. Are you that home? If so, please apply today!
