Trisha and Truffle (Vancouver)

Trisha is a shy, brown girl who is now with a younger boy, Truffle, a black bunny with a white nose. They have a real Romeo/Juliet story! They were both out in their pens during the day and Truffle jumped out of his pen and into Trisha’s pen. We found them like that when we took them into their cages and they have been together ever since. They chose each other.

Trisha is now becoming less shy as Truffle is showing her that humans are not so bad. Truffle is almost a year old. He is the more out-going and friendly. He came from Richmond as a baby about 6 wks. He is about one year old now and Trisha is about 2 yrs and was found in Kits. They are good with their litter box. Trisha likes to chew cardboard. They would prefer a quiet home.

Peter Rabbit & Teena (South Surrey)

Meet Teena and Peter Rabbit!

If you have seen the movie, you’ll understand why we called our little grey furball Peter. He is the most adventurous of the pair, very curious and always searching for new places to explore!

Teena is our sleek black beauty, and although she is the alpha in the couple, she is a lot shyer around people and needs more time to get used to new settings.

We found Peter abandoned in our neighborhood in 2019 around Halloween! He was very young and instantly got used to us, our children and our cats… He actually loves climbing on the cat tree! After a few months we decided to adopt Teena from VRRA, and despite both having a strong personality, they became the most loving couple ever, always on the lookout for each other and very protective of one another.

Peter & Teena have been living together for over 2 years, in a free-roaming habitat in our basement, with lots of toys, tunnels and chewing-friendly things. They really enjoy going outside, away from the dog though!

They love kale, parsley, all kind of healthy bunny food, and most of all their little cranberry or banana feast.

Like most rabbits, they don’t like to be picked up, however they cherish affection and being patted, especially on the head. They will, in return, treat you with purring and soon enough a nose kiss!

Peter & Teena are now looking for their new forever home, as we are relocating to Europe in the spring of 2023.

Sky and Ringo (Vancouver)

Sky and Ringo are a lovely brother and sister, born on May 4th.

These two well behaved buns are tidy, 100% litter trained, and love their hay and veggies. Ringo multicoloured) is more adventurous and curious than Sky (grey with white tummy), while Sky is more comfortable being brushed or petted than Ringo. Both provide something different and make for constant cuteness and entertainment. Added bonus: They don’t shed very much, making them very low maintenance.

Smokey (Vancouver)

Smokey is one lucky bunny. He was reported to be abandoned on Cambie street near the Langara Golf Course. He was picked up and brought to us on the day when it started snowing and getting very cold. Smokey would not have done well in the freezing icy weather. He is a calm, friendly bunny who ran right up to our rabbit catcher. He’s very attractive with his rose grey coat.

Smokey likes to be petted. He’s clean and well behaved – a great little house bunny. If you are interested in adopting Smokey, please fill in our adoption application form here.

Skye (South Surrey)

My name’s Skye! Check out my beautiful blue eyes. My sisters and I were found in a Dairy Queen parking lot in Richmond, we were only about 4 weeks old. We didn’t even get a banana split before being dumped, who does that?! My estimated DOB March 23, 2022. I have a clean bill of health, spayed and vaccinated. I’m great with my litter box. I was raised in a foster home with kids so I’m open to meeting respectful children. I enjoy playing with toys & doing binkies and zoomies. I’ll need space for that. I can be a bit shy at first but I’m very sweet and enjoy attention. I love banana & apple oxbow treats, yummy. I’m looking for a forever home to call my own. I might be open to meeting a male bunny but I’m happy to be your only and #1 fur baby. Can’t wait to meet you, please apply to meet me today!

Scarlett (South Surrey)

Beautiful Scarlett came to the shelter with three babies after being rescued off the streets.  She was very scared upon arrival. But, slowly, she is starting to trust again – especially if you have a treat in your hand!

She is looking for a quiet home; a home with experienced rabbit owners where she can feel safe and loved.

Scarlett has so much potential to blossom, won’t you give her a chance? And just look at those magnificent blue eyes.

Miss Muppet (South Surrey)

Meet Miss Muppet..

This beautiful black bunny with helicopter ears will keep you on your toes while also stealing your heart. She’s quite the character rabbit – sweet as pie and as spicy as can be.

Muppet will need a bunny-experienced home; teenager to adult would be best. Muppet is possessive of her space and has been known to bite. She’s normally great when free-roaming the house – her attitude seems to only be with sharing her stuff or having her area cleaned.

She’s great with respectful cats and dogs. She loves to cuddle and be pet on her terms. This spunky girl is in search of her perfect home.

Peanut (South Surrey)

Introducing Peanut, a golden boy about 18 months old (as of Nov 2022). Peanut can be shy until he gets to know you. He loves to zoom around to burn up his energy and will entertain you with his binkies – he can be very fast!

If you’re interested in meeting him, please apply today to book an appointment at our South Surrey Shelter.

Cole (South Surrey)

Cole is a friendly and well-behaved young bun. He is in a foster home with a cat and kids who have been taught how to kindly interact with him. He is like a big teddy bear, laid back and enjoys his playtime.

If you’re interested in meeting him, please apply today to book an appointment at our South Surrey Shelter.

Asha and Allie (Vancouver)

Asha and Allie were only about 4 weeks old when they were found with their other three siblings in a heap on the sidewalk, obviously dumped from a car. Despite their dire beginnings, these youngsters (born ~Feb 2021) are outgoing and friendly. A few words from their current foster:

Asha & Allie are two very gentle and sweet sibling buns. They’re shy but love to initiate contact and investigate new things. They weirdly love feet with socks and resting your feet near them was the quickest way to pique their curiosity and initiate bonding.

Asha is the one distinguished by the tiny white spot on her nose. She is chill and enjoys a fair share of petting, while Allie is a bit shyer and more mischievous. When it comes to veggies or treats, Allie will shamelessly steal right from Asha’s mouth leaving Asha looking around confused. She probably thinks sharing means eating Asha’s half of the food.

The two have great litterbox habits and are quite neat with using a makeshift hayrack. They’re also quite all right with a bit of volume. We have a busy (adult) family and the buns will still be lounging on their rug or atop their box as people bustle around.
