Mike (Vancouver)

Mike was found near Jericho Park outside an apartment building. He had a blue strap around his neck. It was not a real collar but being used as one. He was flighty and it took awhile to catch him. His owner came out and told the rescuer that Mike was her rabbit. On going to her apartment, the rescuer saw that this person knew nothing about keeping a rabbit. Mike was getting only lettuce and carrots to eat and his person was picking him up by his ears.

The rescuer started to educate about keeping rabbits and the owner decided she didn’t want Mike and told the rescuer to take him. So Mike came to VRRA.

He’s a young bunny, friendly but a bit leery of handling. He has wonderful tall ears and loves to spring around and play. Mike used his litter box well right from the start and doesn’t chew his blankets. He is now neutered and ready for his loving home. If you would like to adopt Mike, please apply today!
