Sweet girl Suede came into the care of VRRA on July 12 with what was diagnosed as a cecum impaction. Additional vet exams and xrays showed that the mass was in her stomach. She was still eating and pooping, but was visibly uncomfortable.
She has made a remarkable recovery: the mass is completely gone, she is drinking on her own again and her fecal output is volcanic! Her personality has also come out: she plays with her toys, does her morning exercises (binkies) religiously, flops in contentment and is both equally sassy and sweet, affectionate and independent! All in all, she is a well balanced girl, who is ready for her forever family and home. She has perfect litter box habits, but her expectation of a constant supply of hay is high, as it should be! Else, she will let you know by digging her litter!!
