VRRA Rabbit Shelter
We need volunteers for rabbit care; cage and run cleaning
and bunny socializing (petting, talking to and just being with the
rabbits.) To help with the rabbits call 604 612-7699.
Thank you donors. We got a boost at Christmas. We are still short
of goal.
To
see Chili sitting like this you would never know what was going
on underneath him. This little black Holland Lop was badly neglected.
He was kept in wet, dirty conditions. A sore on his right hind foot
festered and abscessed with no one noticing. Chili can no longer
move his ankle joint but the right care will return him to a happy,
pain-free bunny.
Rabbit
bones are hard to fix. They are expensive. Could you look into this
little face and tell him "You cost too much to fix." ?
Please give to our Broken Bunny Fund so that we can always
help these rabbits. more

VRRA is always looking for
volunteers and there are many ways in which you can help at VRRA.
You can volunteer at either VRRA's shelter or at the Vancouver SPCA
shelter cleaning rabbit cages in the morning, volunteer at specific
events throughout the year, help out with our newsletter, join the
Events Committee or Education/Outreach Committee, or foster some
of our lovely bunnies. See our Volunteer page for more possibilities.
Contact Karen for more information,

Chester & Piccolina
Here is a delightful pair of dwarf
bunnies. Chester is a tan bunny with dark points and Piccolina is
a shaded grey. they are about 3 years old. Chester and Piccy love
each other and cuddle all the time. He is bold and protective of
her. She bosses him around sometimes even though she's shier than
he is. Both are active, curious little rabbits who love to explore
and race about. They are good with their litter box. Chester and
Piccolina will be anusing and interesing bunny companions.
OR
Consider being a foster home.
Temporary
foster homes mean that
we can save more rabbits. We have to turn rabbits away when there
is no space in our shelter. BUT if we had reliable, temporary
foster homes we could take them.
And
If you can't do that you might consider
our foster by donation.
To adopt or foster any of our
rabbits call 604 612-7699 or e-mail: hopalong@vrra.org
