Flint

Flint is a bright and inquisitive boy that loves his hay and litter box. He has a gorgeous silver-fox coat – white hairs sprinkled throughout his back.

He gets along well with the kids in his foster home who have been taught how to be gentle and respectful with bunnies and enjoys attention.

Flint loves his playtime and is looking forward to being a free-roaming House Rabbit.

Cinder

Cinder – what a lovable boy!

Born Feb 2021, Cinder has an adorable “helicopter” ear that sticks out sideways – a sign that he has a bit of lop in him (one ear up and what halfway down).

He was the only one in the litter that shows some lop characteristics with one ear up and one ear down. He loves his hay and has great litter box habits.  He is mellow but playful.

Christopher

Little Christopher is pretty much the friendliest guy you’ll ever want to meet! He absolutely LOVES head rubs and is super affectionate. Christopher is very active and interesting. He is not a chewy rabbit and is good with his litter box. Christopher would love to explore your house and sit on the couch with you. He maybe shy at first until he knows you.

Check out his video and see how much he adores being paid attention to and pet.

Patrick and Haley

Patrick (grey) and Haley (black) are a handsome duo, now about a year old.

Like so many abandoned bunnies in the lower mainland, they were found wandering the streets of Richmond when only about two months old.

This pair are probably brother and sister and are seeking a Forever Home that understands that rabbits are a 10 plus year commitment. Unfortunately Patrick, has developed a wobble. The cause of these conditions is not always easy to determine. He moves around well but sometimes has problems with balance. This may become better or worse as he ages or it may never change.

Patrick and Haley deserve a chance in a loving home. They are shy but become more outgoing when they know their people and space.

And as bonded bunnies they’ll be loyal to each other – and to you.

Rowan & Sandy

Rowan and Sandy arrived at VRRA from different places and circumstances. The silver lining to them ending up at a shelter is that they found each other – they are now bonded best friends.

They are about 4 years old (as of July 2021) and have matching gorgeous brown agouti coats. They are a good yin-and-yang match, as Rowan is an extreme extrovert – outgoing and curious – whereas Sandy is more sedate. Rowan absolutely loves full-body bunny massages. While Sandy is shy about pets, she is social in her own sweet way and will take treats from your hands. She is content to follow Rowan around like his shadow.

They are lovely, clean and tidy bunnies, and while they’ve been enjoying time in a nice foster placement, the very much need a permanent home to call their own.

Ethel and Jackson

Ethel & Jackson are an adorable odd couple. Ethel is the outgoing one that takes the lead and Jackson is happy to follow along. Look at those gorgeous blue eyes! These two have excellent litterbox habits and will make wonderful permanent additions to some lucky person’s forever family.

Pita and Pan

Pita and Pan are a nifty little pair of middle-aged rab-rabs, about 5 years old. Buns in midlife are a wonderful choice for someone who is looking for laidback companions, content to chill-out and watch Netflix with you. P&P love playing hide-and-seek with each other and will keep you entertained with their affection for each other.

Alfie, Alan, Alma and Amos

Alfie, Alan, Alma and Amos

Special rabbits for special people. These sibling (one sister and 3 brothers) lost their front feet to a predator when they were small babies. The most likely scenario is that they were kept on wire and that something bit their little feet off from below. Alfie, Alma, Alan and Amos do not know that they are different. They love each other as the photo shows. Alfie and Amos get around so you wouldn’t notice they were different. Alan and Alma have slightly more trouble as they lost a little more leg. But they all behave as normal rabbits and are  doing very well. It is, of course, important that they are kept on surfaces that will not hurt their legs but this is not a difficult thing to do and they use their litter boxes well. All are in good health and are good hay eaters. It would be wonderful if they could find a loving foster home together. Everything could be provided. Only love needs to be added.

Stella

Stella is a lovely Himalayan Princess who doesn’t like to be cuddled, but her foster family has discovered that if you give her a good massage, she’ll jump into your lap and refuse to leave. Himalayan bunnies are known for their calm and well-behaved nature. Her favourite food is Hay, and her favourite toy are cardboard boxes. She has good litter box habits. Stella is currently waiting for someone to come and take her home and live happily ever after.
