VRRA Rabbits That Have Been Adopted

The rabbits below are those that have been successfully placed or adopted to good families. These rabbits are loved in their new homes.

Mordecai

Mordecai is a handsome Himalayan boy with a calm temperament. He and his whole family were abandoned in a cardboard box and the bottom of
someone's garden. Luckly their dog noticed the box and they took in and saved the bunnies. Mordecai's mate died due to medical complications but he and his children are now healthy and happy. He is using his litter box like a good boy and will be a nice companion bunny.

Bugs

Bugs is an adorable, little, dwarf boy who was found in a park. He is friendly and very curious. Bugs is only about 4 - 5 months old. He has been neutered and is becoming used to his litter box. Bugs would love to have a home with caring people and maybe a nice spayed girl bunny.

Kali

Kali is a one year old black bunny with a lovely soft coat. She has one ear up and one down. Kali is lively and outgoing - a sweet rabbit who is shy until you get to know her but she loves to be petted. Kali has been spayed and is ready for adoption.

Coco

This lovely little rabbit was found thin and strarving during the winter cold in the courtyard of a condo complex. She is a delightful, friendly, little girl, a real pet. Coco is spayed and plump and healthy now. She will be a good companion bunny.

Chelsea

This very pretty little bunny is a shy but kind girl who is perfect with her litter box. She loves to run and explore and will take time to come and visit with you. Chelsea needs a quiet home with care givers who will appreciate her personality.

Rowina

Rowina is a beautiful Dutch girl with chocolate brown and white colouring. She was found huddled against a fence in a schoolyard during the very cold weather. Some unkind person had put her out there, probably to die. She was rescued by a kind person and turned over to VRRA. Rowina is a friendly bunny who loves to be petted. She is young and active and a bit shy until she knows you. Rowina is spayed.

Nigel - Adopted

This handsome little brown rabbit was constantly confined to a cage until a kind person rescued him from his prison. Nigel is a lovely, bunny with big brown eyes and a kind personality. He is a little shy but loves to run and play. Nigel is neutered and ready for that loving person he will learn to trust. Nigel is perfect with his litter box, a very good little rabbit.

Freddy - Adopted

Here's the perfect family rabbit! Freddy is a big, New Zealand White rabbit with a sweet, calm, friendly personality. Freddy loves to be petted and to lounge on the rug. He is neutered and uses his litter box. Freddy was found lost and alone probably abandoned because his caretakers did not know enough to neuter him. Now he is neutered he is a calm and wonderful house bunny just waiting for that loving home.

Ember - Adopted

Ember is a wonderful bunny, who is full of energy. She is curious, playful, loves to run around. Ember particularly likes it when you are playing with her. Once she gets to know you, she will hop over to see you, give an occasional bunny kiss and a burst of binkies.
The moment you reach out your hand, she melts down to be petted.
Another positive thing is that we have noticed she doesn't chew anything except her toys, cardboard box or newspaper. She is good with her litter bin and has never had an accident outside her cage. (her foster parents.)

Fritz - Adopted

Fritz is a baby, Dutch bunny. He is probably only 4 months old. Fritz was found in a parking lot near a busy street. He is friendly and really enjoys racing about in his foster home. Fritz will be ready for adoption once neutered. He is already pretty good at using his litter box.

PeeWee - Adopted

This lovely little gray and white dwarf girl was found alone in a South Surrey Park. She ran up to her rescuers and let them pick her up. She is very young - perhaps 3 months old and very friendly. PeeWee will be a delightful, little house rabbit. She is good with her litter box already. She will be available for adoption once spayed and can be fostered until then.

Luke - Adopted

Luke is a handsome dwarf/dutch cross. He is curious and lively, friendly little bunny. Luke will appreciate a loving home with lots of time to run and play. He is neutered and ready for adoption.

Spank - Adopted

Spank is a very cute, little, lop eared rabbit, only about 4 months old. Spank was found lost and alone and rescued from an uncertain future. He is an active and curious boy and has been neutered.

Pumpkin - Adopted

Pumpkin is a 2 and a half year old bunny with a lovely golden, orange coat. She is a kind, friendly bunny who loves to be petted and is easy to handle. Pumpkin is spayed and looking for a loving home.

Havarti & Velveta - Adopted

These lovely, baby bunnies are brother and sister 3 months old. They are friendly bunnies who come running up to be petted. Havarti is gray and Velveta is black. They will be big bunnies and really nice pets. Harvarti and Velveta should stay together and can go to a permanent home now they are neutered and spayed.

Charles - Adopted

Charles is a handsome, black and white mini-rex. He is neutered, and a lively, happy boy. Charles was saved from a filthy out-door hutch where he was mostly ignored and neglected. He is very happy bouncing around his foster home but looks for that permanent place. Charles will be a lively and interesting companion to have about the house.

Alice - Adopted

This beautiful bunny was rescued from a home where she was neglected by the children who had demanded a pet. Shut in a cage most of the time she languished, sad and alone until a family friend rescued her. Alice is a very nice girl, friendly and out-going with a super personality. She is a lovely, sleek rabbit with tall ears. Alice is spayed, very good with her litter box and ready for a home of her own.

Cabby - Adopted

Cabby got her name because she was abandoned in the back seat of a taxi. She is a dream girl - super friendly, out-going and sweet. Cabby is only about 3 months old. She will be a medium sized rabbit when full grown and will have gray ears and nose. Cabby can be fostered until she is spayed after that she can be adopted.

Pablo - Adopted

Pablo is a baby rabbit about two and a half months old. He was found when he could sit in your hand, alone in Jericho Park. He is a delightful little fellow, very forward and active. Pablo will be a medium to large rabbit. He will be ready for adoption when he is neutered.

Charlotte - Adopted

Poor Charlotte was abandoned when her owners sold their house. The new owner found her in a cage outside, alone and hungry. Charlotte is a sweet bunny who has been neglected badly. She is very overweight and used to being always shut in a cage. Her nails were badly overgrown. She is now on a diet and doing well in her new foster home. Charlotte will be ready for adoption once she is spayed.

Jasper - Adopted

Here's Jasper relaxing after a hard day of running around. Jasper is 3 years old and a lovely little fellow with a very soft coat and big brown eyes. Jasper is friendly and active and uses his litter box like a good boy. He was given up due to alergies. Jasper is neutered and looks forward to racing about your house.

Pixie - Adopted

This little girl was thrown out in Stanley Park to fend for herself. She is a quiet, kind, small dwarf bunny, gray and white with blue eyes. Pixie is only about 3 months old and will remain a small rabbit. She will be spayed when she is old enough. Pixie would enjoy a foster home until then and looks forward to a permanent home.

Davy - Adopted

Davy is a one year old, black lop bunny who had a sad young life mostly shut in a garage due to allergies. He is a kind, friendly little fellow - a bit shy untll he knows his space and people. Davy is neutered and would like to have a home.

Abner - Adopted

Abner is a kind little bunny who has lost his home due to his owner going into a care facility. He is six years old and still a lively little fellow. Abner needs to diet and looks for a second chance in a loving home. He is neutered and a kind boy who wonders where his home has gone.

Mousef & Mark - Adopted

These two baby rabbits were only some of several thrown out at Jericho Park. A kind person stopped to rescue these when they ran right up to her. They are now about 3 months old. They are shy but curious and come up when they get to know you. These boys have beautiful sable coats - Mousef has one white foot and a white star. They will be neutered soon. They will be ready for adoption once altered.

Kaslo -Adopted

Kaslo was found alone on Kaslo Street. He is a tiny, dwarf, boy with a very friendly, out-going personality. Kaslo will run up to see you and loves to explore. He is a young bunny, probably no more than 6 months old. Kaslo will be neutered soon. Kaslo is not an aggressive rabbit and would be a good friend for a spayed girl bunny.

Pepin - Adopted

Pepin is a sweet, Nerthland Dwarf/Silver Martin cross. She is spayed, 3 years old and blind in one eye. This causes her no problems and no health concerns - it is an old injury.

Pepin is very friendly and a really good little house bunny. She misses her home and would appreciate a new one.

Destiny - Adopted

Destiny is a handsome, black velvet mini Rex. He is a friendly out-going boy, very curious and active. At the moment Destiny is over-weight having been shut in a small cage for a long time. He will be ready for adoption once neutered.

Tobie - Adopted

Tobie is a lovely, young, gray and white bunny with blue eyes. She was found in a park - probably only a few minutes after some mean person put her there. She was sitting there dazed and confused when a kind person picked her up. She is very out-going and personable - a real people-bunny. Tobie is spayed and good with her litter and will be a very nice house companion. She would also make a good friend for a neutered boy bunny.

April - Adoption pending

April is a sweet black bunny with a friendly, out-going personality. She was found lost in a west side neighbourhood where a good samaritan picked her up and brought her to us. She is really a dear little rabbit, probably a lop cross. Her ears are sometimes up and sometimes down giving her an adorable expression. April is easy to handle and likes to sit on your lap. She will be a lovely companion. April will be ready for adoption once she is spayed.

Buster Brown - has been adopted

Brownie is an adorable, cream coloured lop boy with a wonderful, calm and kind personality. Brownie would enjoy a peaceful home with lots of room to run and play. He's a very sweet boy who needs more adventure in his life. Brownie was dropped by a child and broke his foot. It has healed but will always be crooked. It doesn't bother him at all and he looks forward to hopping about a happy home. He is only one year old.

Easter - has been adopted!

Easter is a Netherland Dwarf girl with a lovely Silver Martin colouring. She is overweight from being kept in a small cage for too long. Her names says it all - the typical present that wears out it's welcome. Easter is quite timid and pretends to be very tough but she comes around to gentle talking and little treats. Easter will be a real personality bunny. Easter has been spayed.

Joey - Adopted

Joey is a handsome little rabbit. He was rescued from a terrible home and is now in a loving foster home enjoying his freedom to run and play. Joey is neutered, has a nice disposition and is a good boy with his litter box. This little bunny really enjoys being petted and will come and sit beside you on the couch.

Huckleberry- Adopted

This handsome boy is Mr Personality. Huckleberry and his brother and sisters were born at a local shelter. His mom had been found outside, alone. Huck will come and sit beside you and is calm to handle. He is a large, friendly boy, neutered and uses his litter box well. Huck will be a lovely house pet for some lucky person.

George - Adopted

George was badly neglected and had such a poor diet that his fur was coming out. Now it is growing in but he still looks "scruffy". Poor George bears the emotional scars of his neglect and it will be awhile before he is trusting. He is doing well in his foster home and is now neutered and looking for some permanent care with someone who could tolerate his aggressive bahaviour.

Millie - Adopted

This pretty little rabbit was left to fend for herself among the coyotes of North Vancouver. She was rescued by a concerned person and turned over to us. She has a sweet personality. Millie is now spayed and looks forward to hopping around a home.

 

 

Ziggy - Adopted

This dear little fluff ball is an American Fuzzy Lop baby. He is only about 3 months old and a really fun little fellow. Ziggy will be neutered soon and is looking for that loving home. His coat will need brushing but other than that he is just a regular little bunny with a super personality.

Pikkles - Adopted

Pikkles is a lovely, lively little rabbit who had to leave her home due to family problems. She will enjoy a home where she is allowed to run and play. Pikkles is spayed and good with her litter box. She would probably like a neutered boy bunny to play with.

Chickpea - Adopted.
Chickpea is a dear little Netherland dwarf bunny with a winning personality. He is a super good little house bunny who runs around the house, doesn't chew anything and always uses his litter box. He's a happy, kind little fellow who looks for a loving home to hop in. His foster mom says "How come nobody has adopted him? He's such a nice little fellow".

Thelma and Louise - adopted

These lovely little girls were found abandoned as baby bunnies on the North Shore. They are very sweet, a little shy, but learning that people are good to them. They love one another and should stay together. Both are spayed and ready for a loving home.

Daisy and Roger - Adopted

These attractive dwarf rabbits love each other and must stay together. Daisy is white with blue eyes and Roger is a lovely tan with dark shading. Both are calm, kind little bunnies who are good with their litter box. They will be sweet pets for some lucky person. Roger is neutered and Daisy will be spayed soon.

Ginger-Velvet - Adopted

G-V is the most beautiful, red, rex rabbit. She is very lively and so friendly. She came with the name Velvet but Ginger was added for her lovely colour. Ginger-Velvet comes running to see people. She was found lost, no doubt thrown out because she has become a "teen-ager" with difficult behaviours. All that will change once she is spayed. In spite of her wonderful energy and "nesting" activities she is very good with her litter box. G-V will be a deluxe house bunny for some lucky person. Ginger-Velvet is now spayed and ready for adoption.

Leo - Adopted

Leo is a lovely little Lionhead rabbit. He was purchased by people who loved him but could not commit to his care. He was sold as a female by the pet store but is definitely a boy. Leo is only 7 months old and is shy but friendly. He will be a lovely pet and a good friend for a spayed girl bunny now he has been neutered.

Autumn - Adoption Pending

Autumn is an American Fuzzy Lop only 3 months old. She was purchased at a pet store that offered no information on rabbit care. The unsuspecting owners found themselves with a pet unsuited to their lifestyle. The shelter was full so VRRA has stepped in to find her a home. She is a, curious, friendly bunny with a long coat that will need dedicated brushing. Autumn is spayed and is very good with her litter. Autumn is a real character. She loves to steal tissues from the box and run about the house with them.

Casper - Adopted

This nice little rabbit is very friendly and is known for his bunny kisses. Casper is only about 5 months old. He is snow white with blue eyes and will be lovely house pet. Casper is very good with his litter box and happily runs about the home without chewing anything. He would be a good companion for a spayed girl bunny.

Rhett - Adopted

This handsome, black and white boy is a real character rabbit. He is active and friendly and looks forward to racing about your home. Rhett is very good with his litter box. Rhett is only about 6 months old and is neutered and all ready to love.

Buttercup & Apricot - Adopted

These two lovely sisters are sweet, friendly girls. Buttercup is brown and Apricot is a light tan. They are excellent house rabbits, very clean and good with their litter box, non-chewy and affectionate. They love to play together and with their foster cats. These girls are two years old and spayed. They will be wonderful family rabbits.

Mr. and Mrs. Boffo - Adopted

These two beautiful bunnies found each other in their foster home and are in love. Both are neutered and must stay together. They are happy, healthy rabbits who need room to run and play. A safe, protected outdoor run and a home with loving adult caregivers would be ideal for these two. They would love a rabbit proof house space with plenty of freedom. Mr. Boffo, on the right is about 5 yrs. old. His lady is younger.

Christopher - Adopted
Christopher is a very handsome, gray, Rex rabbit. Rex rabbits have a plush fur that feels like velvet. He is an adult and very much looks forward to lots of attention and room to run. Christopher was saved by VRRA from euthanasia at a shelter. He is a friendly boy who looks forward to a happy life in a loving home. His foster mom loves him but has to go to live on a boat and so cannot keep him. Christopher is neutered and ready to love.

Gretel - Adopted

Gretel is a pretty Netherland Dwarf girl who was found lost in a back garden. She is out-going and very curious. Gretel is miss personality plus and will be a super companion rabbit. Her coat is a lovely, plush blue/gray. She is spayed.

Samantha - Adopted
Samantha is a sweet natured girl bunny less than a year old, who was dumped by her family in a pet store. As she was not a "baby" rabbit and "undesirable" to sell for a pet, she was about to go as snake food when a kind soul bought her first and turned her over to VRRA. Samantha has been spayed and will need a loving home with no large snakes.

Heidi - Fostered for adoption
Heidi is a sweet dwarf/dutch bunny who was found lost in Surrey with a fractured hock. Her leg has been operated on and will heal. However, she will always have an odd hop. Heidi is a friendly little girl probably less than two years old. She will be a delightful companion and ready for adoption once she is spayed.

William and Harry - Adopted
Named after two princes these lovely little Holland Lops are only 4 months old. William is black and white and Harry is a shaded black. They are brothers and love each other and want to stay together. William and Harry are very active and curious. Both are neutered and ready for a loving home.

Teddy - Adopted
Teddy is a delightful, black, lop bunny. He is a very out-going and friendly little fellow who runs to see you. Poor little Teddy was found in Pacific Spirit Park where he had been put out to fend for himself. A kind lady saved him when he followed her home. Teddy has been neutered and will be a loving pet for some lucky person.

Dian & Errol - Adopted
These are two young bunnies, unrelated but very much in love. Dian is probably a dwarf/dutch cross. She is a very pretty brown with white markings. Errol is a little larger and is white with brown spotting. Errol is a very friendly boy. Dian is shy and very active. They need a home with lots of fun things to do and places to hop about. Both are altered and only about one year old. Dian has a broken toe that is healing nicely though it will always be crooked. It should not be a problem for her.

CeeCee (Chocolate Chip) - has been adopted
This beautiful, young girl bunny was found abandoned in West Vancouver. CC is a lovely personality, very friendly and people loving. She follows her foster mom around. She is good with her litter box. CeeCee is probably still growing and will be a large bunny. She will be a wonderful companion bunny for some lucky people. CC is spayed and ready for adoption.

Mickie - Adopted

Mickie is a very out-going, friendly little bunny with a loving personality. Mickie came to a shelter and had a pulled tendon in one hing leg. She is now hale and harty and ready to hop around your house. Mickie is spayed and her calm, non-aggressive personality will make her a good companion for another rabbit.

Sybil - Has been adopted.

This lovely little Holland Lop rabbit was found lost on the West side of the city. She was hiding under a hedge when a kind person took her home. After trying for a week to find her owner this person contacted us. Sybil has now been spayed. She is an out-going and friendly girl who gets along well with cats and dogs (as long as they are kind with her). She is very good with her litter box and looks forward to a loving home with people who will not loose her this time.

Smokey - Adopted
Smokey is a beautiful girl bunny coloured like a bluepoint Siamese cat. She is a wonderful personality rabbit, calm, gentle, friendly yet out-going and curious. Poor Smokey was found at a construction site and saved by a kind workman who rescued her before her home in a woodpile was bulldosed. She's very good with her litter box and will be ready for adoption once spayed.

Charlie - Has been adopted!

Charlie is aproximately 1 year old. He is neutered, litter trained, and likes classical music. His favorite snacks include: apples, peapods, spinach. Charlie will not chew cords if they have been sprayed with vinegar frequently.
Charlie would like a home with carpets to run and jump on and people who are around to love him.

Ghoshi - Adopted

This little fellow and his siblings were dumped outside a convenience store in a cardboard box at 4 weeks of age. He is now 16 weeks old and a happy, inquisitive bunny. Would like to have a permanent home with somebody who will love him forever. Temporary fostering would be helpful as well. Thank you in advance.

Snowy - Adopted

Nice young female bunny found wandering a residential street. Inquisitive and friendly. Likes watching T.V. Please consider fostering or adopting her.

Blackberry - Adopted
Blackberry is a pretty little Netherland dwarf girl with a lively, curious personality. She is a good girl with her litter box even though she is not spayed yet. Blackberry would be very happy to be free to hop around your home.

Angel & Pookie - Have been adopted!

These two beautiful house bunnies were given up due to family alergies. They were much loved and very missed. Angel is a lovely New Zealand White rabbit who was found lost on a Chilliwack street. Pookie is a dear, little mini-Rex in a wonderful velvet coat. They love each other and must stay together. They will be ready for a new home once Angel is spayed. They are nice personality rabbits and good with their litter box.

Sandy - Has been adopted!

Sandy is a very handsome, Holland Lop that someone threw out at Cresent Beach - hence his name, "Sandy". He is a delightful, out-going and friendly boy, very, very good with his litter box. Sandy is a young bunny. He has been neutered and is looking for a loving home.

Angus - has been adopted

Angus is a wonderful, black and white dwarf cross who was on death row at a local shelter. He was quite timid and shy but is now coming forth due to love and attention in his foster home and has become a friendly, happy little fellow. Angus is neutered and would be a nice friend for a spayed girl bunny. Please consider loving this little fellow.

Nellie - has been adopted
Nellie is a pretty little Netherland Dwarf only 6 months old. She had to leave her home because the dogs could not be trusted with her. She is very friendly and fearless and loves to run and explore. Nellie is spayed, is good with her litter box and will be a wonderful companion rabbit.

Trixie - Has been adopted!

Trixie is a cute little Netherland Dwarf rabbit 3 years old. The only reason she needs a home is because her loving owner died. She is very friendly and can sit in two cupped hands. She is snow white with blue eyes. Trixie had badly misaligned teeth that made it hard for her to eat. Her front incisors have now been removed. This means that Trixie's vegetables must be cut into bite sized pieces otherwise she eats perfectly well.

Trixie is spayed and will be a perfect house companion. And you will never have to worry about her chewing anything!

Abby and Amber - are adopted!

These bunnies were born on Bowen Island and turned into a local shelter. Amber is a lovely brown bunny with big brown eyes. She is about 1.5 years old. Abby is Amber's one year old daughter. Abby is black with a speckling of white hairs and a little larger than her mother. They are shy girls but easy to handle and will become more out-going once they are secure in their surroundings. The girls are good with their litter box and fine house bunnies.

Sable and Mable - are adopted!

Sable and Mable are best friends, two beautiful girl bunnies. Sable has up-ears and is a lovely, sable colour. Mable is a very pretty, tan and white lop. Both are friendly, out-going girls and look forward to a loving home.

Hanna and Mickolas - Adopted

These two lops are a wonderful pair. Both have been "altered" and are very clean. They are 5.5 years old and would like to remain together. Currently being cared for in an adult only foster home. Surrendered because young child developed allergies.

Minnie - Has been adopted.

Minnie is a pretty little white rabbit with blue eyes. She is a kind girl, a bit shy until she knows you. Minnie has spent most of her time shut in a cage so looks forward to hopping around a loving home. Minnie is spayed and very good with her litter box. She will be a good friend for a boy bunny.

Celeste - Has been adopted!

Celeste is a very pretty Netherland Dwarf cross. She is a calm, kind little bunny who would love to hop around your house and into your heart. Her coat is lovely shaded silver and her eyes are blue. Celeste has been spayed and is ready for adoption.
